2022 marks five years of worship, ministry, and service at True Vision Christian Community. Since our humble beginnings at the former Fire House Church location in Carroll to our current location at 706 W. Wheeling Street, God has used us to be a place of restoration, revival, and reconciliation for many people across the world and a launching pad for several to move into their God-ordained purpose and destiny.  TVCC is a small church with a massive impact both locally and internationally. It is with this heart and mission that we are embarking on our biggest faith move in the existence of our church.

When we were blessed with our current building, we wanted it to be more than just a place for Sundays but for the community to use for help, support, and events. During our time at 706 W. Wheeling Street, we have:

  • hosted weekly office hours, neighborhood canvassing, and training with Southeastern Ohio Legal Services;

  • assisted the Fairfield County Think Tank on Poverty with resources and provided space for the first listening session about housing inequality;

  • hosted an in-house faith-based recovery ministry;

  • hosted the 2022 Martin Luther King Day Citywide Celebration;

  • served as a food box pickup site during the height of the pandemic;

  • opened our doors for several local weddings and other community events; and

  • maintained a free clothing and emergency food pantry which is open during our services and when there has been a need.

Through our work and service to Lancaster and specifically the Anchor Hocking area, we have come to realize there is a continued need for us to have a physical presence to serve the city and our neighbors. We have learned how moving constantly hinders church growth. We have seen numerical growth as well as more visitors than we did from 2017 until October 2020 partially because of our continued stability. We need your help to ensure that we can continue this work for years to come and work to bring hope to the area.

The Tent to Tabernacle Campaign is a 15-month initiative to help us become established in Lancaster and fulfill our vision to continue to be a church without walls through ensuring a space for us and the community to gather and become a hub and beacon of service and resources to the community-at-large. The goal of the Tent to Tabernacle Campaign is to raise $100,000 from June 2022 until September 2023 in three phases.

Phase 1- $15,000: June 1, 2022 until October 15, 2022

  • $12,000 to cover the remaining rent from October 2022-May 2023

  • $3000 to upgrade our online and streaming infrastructure to better serve our community and our partners across the world (computers, new video cameras, and a switcher)

Phase 2- $35,000: November 1, 2022-March 30, 2023

  • $24,000 to cover rent from May 2023-May 2024

  • $3000 to update the Abundant Harvest Outreach Room and stock it.

  • $3000 to finish the Fellowship Hall/KidsSpace so it can be used as a meeting space or chapel space.

  • $5000 to provide funding for Abundant Harvest, Evangelism Teams, the Pastoral Care and Abundant Harvest Benevolence Funds, and other initiatives

Phase 3- $55,000: April 1, 2023 until September 30, 2023
